Olymp Trade privacy policy
This Olymp Trade privacy policy explains what data we collect, how it is used and how to ask for a copy.

This page explains which personal data this website handles, why it is kept, and how to request a copy or deletion. It also marks the boundary between this site and the OlympTrade platform, because the two hold different kinds of information.
What this Olymp Trade privacy policy covers
This Olymp Trade privacy policy applies to data processed by this website: the pages you open here, the messages you send to our address and the technical records your browser creates while loading the site. It does not cover the account you hold on the OlympTrade platform.
OlympTrade is an online trading platform used by traders in more than 130 countries, with access to currencies, stocks, indices and digital assets. Registration details, identity checks and payments are handled inside that platform under its own rules, and we never receive them. A request about a trading account, a deposit, a withdrawal or verification therefore belongs with the platform’s support desk, not with us. This site explains how the platform works for readers comparing tools and approaches; the broader material on stock market trading sits on the home page. Nothing here is investment advice, and trading carries the risk of loss.
What data is collected
Two groups: what you send us, and what your browser sends automatically.
- Messages you write. Your email address, the name you sign with, the text of your question and any file you attach.
- Technical records. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location derived from the IP address, the pages you view and the link you arrived from.
- Correspondence history. Earlier messages and their dates, so you do not have to repeat yourself every time.
- Site preferences. Small settings that keep the interface working the way you left it.
We do not ask for trading account credentials, card numbers, scans of identity documents or access codes. Please do not send them — email is not a safe place for that kind of file, and we cannot use it.
How data is used
Each purpose is tied to something you would expect:
- answering your question and continuing the conversation;
- keeping the site available, stable and protected against abuse;
- understanding, in aggregate, which pages answer reader questions and which do not;
- meeting a legal obligation if a valid request from an authority arrives.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass your email address to third parties for their own marketing. Information is kept only as long as the purpose requires: a question and its reply stay in the mailbox while it is an open thread and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that follow-up questions make sense.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores. This site uses them for basic functions and for aggregated traffic measurement — how many people opened a page, which pages are read, where visitors came from. Aggregate numbers do not identify you.
Two things are worth knowing. Once you follow a link to the platform, its pages may set their own cookies, and those are governed by the platform’s rules rather than this policy. Some links of that kind are partner links. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; parts of the site may then behave less predictably, but nothing stops you from reading it.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask for corrections, ask for deletion, or object to further contact. Write to [email protected] with a short description of what you want.
A few practical notes. Use the address you wrote from before, if you have one — it makes verification faster and prevents someone else from requesting your data. Deletion requests are honoured unless a legal or accounting rule requires us to keep a record, in which case we explain why. Requests about a trading account, payments or verification cannot be handled here, since we never hold that data. Depending on where you live, local data protection law may give you additional rights; say which right you are exercising and we will treat the request accordingly.
How to contact us about personal data
Direct line for data questions: [email protected], phone +1 212 555 0177, or post to 88 Market Street, Suite 1200, New York, NY 10005, United States. The support desk is staffed around the clock, every day of the week, and Olymp Trade customer support is the shorter route when your question is not specifically about privacy.
Questions readers ask
What personal data do you collect? Mainly the email address and message you send us, plus technical records such as IP address and pages viewed. No trading account details.
Do you use cookies? Yes, for site functions and aggregate traffic measurement. You can clear or block them in your browser.
Can I get a copy or deletion of my data? Yes — write to the address above and describe the request. We may verify that it comes from you.
How do I contact the data team? Email is the fastest route; the phone number and postal address above work as well. For general platform questions, the olymp trade help center covers the basics.
